One of the my favorite parts of a birthday part was and still is the goodie bags! I have adopted this into my everyday life. I have ziploc baggies tucked away inside my cupboard that have candies and other goodies that are shelf stable and safe for my allergies that I can pluck out at a moments notice.
I love to take one to the movies, holiday parties and yes even birthday parties!
I always keep a mini goodie bag in my purse because you never know when the urge will strike! I always like to be prepared for every situation especially those that call for sweets.
Now for a child, I would pick a fun pattern for a small bag and tie it with ribbons. I may even put in a fun toy or stickers. Also, try and rotate the fun items and sweets to keep it fun and novel.

My Sweet Inspiration
I developed food allergies over four years ago and although it was not easy I learned how to eat and cook without dairy, egg or nuts. I love to bake for my family and friends, but there were no baking mixes available to meet my special allergy needs. As a result, I grew creative! Over the years and many batches of baked goods later, I perfected a variety of deliciously innovative recipes that satisfied not only my taste buds but also my new dietary restrictions.
My whole family has been involved in the development of these special mixes with their support, opinions, and laughter. My two daughters, Sara and Caroline have been enthusiastic taste testers and my husband Chip is not only my partner in life but also in Cherrybrook Kitchen Inc. As a family we have baked many cakes, washed many pans, eaten a lot of cookies and had a wonderful experience launching this company.
These are products straight from my heart and soul (and taste buds), for everyone with or without food allergies to enjoy!
